Presentation:  Innovative Technology Solution for Leveraging BIM Data

In this presentation, we will share how you can leverage the BIM data for preconstruction and construction workflow. Best practices will be shared on how to condition a model with information outside of the design model so that you can organize a model in a way that you estimate. With the ability to classify objects by activity ID, bid packages, cost code, VE options, and zones/areas, preconstruction teams can realize immediate benefits by streamlining the data. We will also share how you can use dynamically connected 2D drawings and 3D Models for improved project insight. This integrated combination approach helps you understand 2D Drawings in the context of the model to make sound decisions when performing takeoff, estimating, and construction management.
